New Project Time!

And by “New” I mean I started it probably 5 weeks ago. I haven’t had much time to work on it and I am still in the first section.

The pattern is called “Spectrum Scarf” and it is available on Ravelry for free. The original uses a rainbow gradient yarn, hence the name. I am using a similar yarn but in a different colorway. There are a few different companies making and selling the cotton fingering weight yarns in long variegated colorways.

This is worked as a diagonal. Increases on one side with a corresponding decrease on the other side. There are several pattern blocks as you go along, and reviews say it’s a good pattern overall to keep from getting tired of long stretches of stockinette
